Can anyone name me some things that was made out of rainforest materials?

When the tallest building in Atlanta was being built I was doing construction work. The paneling of the elevators are made out of a rare wood from Africa and was very beautiful to look at and the paneling cost over eleven grand per elevator. The tree that produced that type of wood was only one in a thousand so they had to cut down the other trees to get the gem. I like knotty pine and it costs a lot less.
