A guy living with a girl?

hey all, I'm gonna be a junior next year at my university and I'm in a fraternity. I don't want to live at the house cause I wouldnt get anything done, and I kinda don't want to live with my friends cause they aren't the cleanest guys around. I wouldnt care about their cleanliness but it's my family's apartment, so I kinda want it to be kept clean, so I was going to advertise around campus/craigs list to live with a girl. But then I thought that that might be a little weird if i advertised for that...but then I remembered the show, Three's Company, hahaha. Has any guy lived with a girl who he wasn't dated? or vice versa? I jsut wanna know if it's weird if I ask...
