Republicans voted to raise the debt ceiling 7 times during the Bush admin; without demand for a single cut?

As a side note, your conservative readers should be reminded that the debt and the deficit both decreased under President Clinton, and that the Republican presidents, Reagan and both Bushes, increased the national debt by 61 percent. Every single Republican in Congress and just about every conservative commentator applauded the mive debt explosion under Republican administrations. The Republicans have no credibility on this topic at all. It's a red herring for political purposes, but the spineless corporate media doesn't have the guts and commitment to truth to point it out.
