I kneed your Dance opinion?

Okay so at my church we have a dance team. We are preforming on saturday and one of the guys that had a big part cant be there sat. So they told me to learn his part. so the dance leader tought it to me and now the guy calls me back up and says ok u dont have to do it im gonna be there saturday after i took the time to do it. it just kinda makes me upset what do u guys think
