Is Aaron Rodgers the next Steve Young?

There are several differences. Joe Montana actually helped teach Steve Young. Brett Favre hasn't done anything of the sort for Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers had to defend for himself. And Favre wasn't really pushed out. He said he was retiring, the team made moves accordingly, then he goes back on what he said after the team had committed to the change. It's not the team's fault.
